Bruno LuPu Lucid Based ??

#1 Post by CaptBry »

Dear BigMike,

Your Bruno 4.3.1 has been my most versatile and easiest Distro to date.
From Eee PC (better that Pupeee even) through a 3GHzx2 Game machine Bruno handles all my platforms intrinsically. THANK YOU!!

Any plans for a new release based on the new ubuntu Puppy Linux kernel, LuPu? The ability to add DEB packages stripped of fluff is awesome. (personally I like gnome-ppp and qbittorrent) I know WOOF is supposed to make building one's own version easy, but there are things deep within Bruno that make it so versatile and functional, me thinks!

My Bruno USB keychain with OpenOffice just boggles a windoze user! :D

Thanks for volumes or work!

Hi

didn't see your post till now. I might do something like that.

However, just finished remastering Think Linux Puplet based on quirky 1.2 it can use debs and it quite versatile also. So far seems to be fast and stable like Bruno. I like it because it is based on the T-2 project like Bruno.

I am making and upgrade to Bruno where it will also be able to use debs and have more deps in it.

Thanks for your interest

BigMike
