i just install puppy 1.07 alpha ( xvesa cause xorg don't work) and i remark that all the "G" application have too big fonts and its not confortable to use as well ... (gaim , sylpheed , Gnumeric etc ...)

i remember that when i installed grafpup , i didn't have the same troubles ...i'm not talking about menu fon'ts and theme fonts ...but the general fonts for "G" application ...

is there a way to change that ... i'm searching but can't find anything ...

please could you put some light on this troubles ..

thanks in advance ...

When 1.0.7beta is released, this problem should be fixed, at least for GTK2 applications.

Font size adjustment is discussed somewhere recently in this forum, and in the last week in my Developer News page you will find some notes:

You can set up Gtk-fonts in
/root/.gtkrc
/root/.gtkrc-2.0

Code: Select all

style "user-font" {
   font_name = "lucida 12"
}
widget_class "*" style "user-font"
