These are the full folders I downloaded
pupget_packages-1
sfs_modules-2
sfs_modules-3
sources
split-files
vintage
and soon I'll be finished with ttuuxxx (minus the Libs, still need to find where that compressed tar.gz is located)
any others you want downloaded?

Hi dave if your using Filezilla, This version http://www.murga-linux.com/puppy/viewto ... 50&t=40974
worked a lot better than a regular version, I was downloading over 1MB/sec once I enabled 10 simultaneous downloads.

Hi Jeff,
The files in here http://69.174.102.38/puppyfiles/ are Barry's files and might not be up to date.
Those should be done from his Ibiblio url to be sure they are current. Alas I have no command shell on this account and wget/rsync is not supported....grrr...I miss my command shell.

These http://69.174.102.38/puppyfiles/custom/ are being done by Dave and myself.

So just get your stuff as it's the biggest by far. We can worry about Barry's files later as he has other mirrors....we just need odd stuff now and we have some time to take requests from users.

Other than that the ftp users will do thier own stuff if they wish to use this account. So let's wait and see what is left over when you get your files...ty

ttuuxxx,
Okay I'll give that filezilla of yours a try.

Stupid question...should it work in my beloved 214X ?

Dave

Question answered:
bash-3.00# filezilla
filezilla: /usr/lib/libstdc++.so.6: version `GLIBCXX_3.4.9' not found (required by /usr/lib/libwx_base-2.8.so.0)

Sorry Dave it was built on series 4 and only works on series 4&5, one of those rare files that doesn't work on 2.14X, I'm using Dpup at the moment.

ttuuxxx.
No problem. using it in your puppy 431.1 but to be honest I don't find it any faster. Never mind. However I do really like filezilla but I guess it would be too heavy on dependancies for 214X. =Hint!! :-)

I think I have a copy of your Libs.tar.gz so if you don't eventually find it I'll try to upload it but it may take a while.

Cheers
Dave

Hey Jeff,
I think the copy of your libs.tar.gz was corrupt. I can't find it either and the search is broken...I'll try to fix it and do a search for the tar file.
Thanks to all!!

@caneri

Eric, I've just finished transferring files from the custom folder as you requested. I did all the English language files but wasn't sure if the owners of the French/ Spanish/Chinese/Japanese/Hacou want these so didn't do them. Also running up my monthy bandwidth so had to stop. Sorry.

Just one point; I noticed that the original md5sum for ecopup is for version 0.7 but the actual iso is version 0.7.1 I transferred the md5sum but of course it doesn't give a good check so perhaps you may wish to delete the checksum and add a new one.

Sorry it took so long but the upload was super slow.

Great job Jeff and Dave!
That's a lot of data transfer..thanks! I would still be d/ling the first few directories here.

@Dave...I noticed some of the md5sum do not match but that was all I could find. If anyone has more vintage files please post here.

I can't put Hacao on this account as it will kill it poste haste but I will look at the other languages.

Thanks Again guys..I'll poke around from here...Eric

Eric,
I noticed some of the md5sum do not match
Not exactly sure what this means. I did check all the given md5sums after I downloaded and all were okay except the ecopup , as above.

Are you saying some of my uploads aren't okay. If that's the case I'll have another go if you tell me which ones.

(I'd check myself but not sure where these are being uploaded to.)

Hi Dave,
What I meant was a few of the vintage md5sum didn't match and that was all I could find when I was tracking them down...yours are fine...sorry.
I'm still waking up here..not enough coffee yet.

I have got a copy here, called: Libs.tar = 844MB
if you can suggest where i could upload it to, i will do so.
Caneri wrote:Hey Jeff,

I made a note of the following when i extracted the Libs.tar file mentioned above:

Code: Select all

# tar -xf Libs.tar
tar: Libs/libmp3lame.so.0.0.0: time stamp 2015-11-04 14:14:10 is 217827270.821936684 s in the future
tar: Libs/libmp3lame.a: time stamp 2015-11-04 14:14:08 is 217827267.150588024 s in the future
tar: Libs/libmp3lame.la: time stamp 2015-11-04 14:14:08 is 217827266.295645728 s in the future
#
other than that, it uncompressed OK.

CatDude
.

EDIT:
I have just repacked it as Libs.tar.gz = 270MB

@Caneri,

Uploaded the French and Spanish sections of /custom tonight.

Afraid that's all I can do this month due to BW limitations. ( I had lots of bad transfers which needed re-doing.)
