New Puppy Master

#1 Post by Lobster »

Mark Ulrich as an emanation

Most distros have their Gnu Gurus
Our gurus (literally Bringers of Light) have a higher status
I empower them as YinYana Buddhist 'Mind' Emanations

Ttuuxxx is one of our hardest working 'out there' developers
Just as many contribute behind the scenes.

We only have had 3 developers known as 'Puppy Masters'
BarryK, GuestToo (retired from active Puppyness) and MU Mark Ulrich
I now consider Ttuuxxx as our (most volatile) 4th Puppy Master
and Senior Developer.

I know Ttuuxxx is a Christian
So I am giving him the honorary name 'Vajra' (a kind of Cross)
which should keep his wife happy :D
Also as humility is a Christian virtue
don't worship him (too much) 8)

OK the men in white coats are here for me . . .

dedication

#3 Post by raffy »

ttuuxxx's dedication to Puppy Linux coding is at par (or second ) to Barry's. But for some reason he needed a leash to his temper to be truly a Puppy Master.

Someone should therefore gift ttuuxxx with a leash :D

And away goes the Master, coding endlessly...

" But for some reason he needed a leash to his temper "

I believe that ttuuxxx has curbed this habit.

He has generated many improvements and for this should
be applauded.

Personally I believe that he has plenty of ability but strangely
might not have believed in himself enough...and became frustrated.

His moment has arrived so let us be generous in our praise.

ttuuxxx has always been around on the forums helping out
and going out of his way to help.
He has found his wings now and I wish him well on his journey.

Regards............Chris.

Raffy and others who have been around awhile
and worked with Puppy
will be aware of the range and diversity of contributions of our Puppy Masters.

Barry had to do everything, host the forum. answer queries and code Puppy. Guestoo was very knowledgeable and actively supported peoples introduction to Linux, created pages on the early wikis and provided advice to Barry, coded and compiled etc. MU was a powerhouse of development and supported and advised many users.
They all dedicated a great amount of time to Puppy.

Ttuuxxx has shown the same powerhouse of effort, diversity and support. :)

My god man!!! What happened to his hair?
Let me guess... He washed it and it shrank?

I have a pic...and I know which one was ttuuxxx in those pics he posted but I won't reveal him as I have no permissions...sorry..Eric

EDIT: this post is to entice Jeff to post a pic...he's quite a good looker except for the thinning hair line and the tattoos on his cranial skin and eyelids...gotcha Jeff...;-)

Sorry Raffy,

I would need to use Photoshop/Gimp to edit the spinach or vegamite out of Jeff's teeth for a decent pic.

yes, ttuuxx really is a powerpuppy :)

Terry, my hair I've cut in early 2007, when I found a new job in southern germany.
And I will not let it grow again, it is too thin meanwhile. So it was good that I had tried it out one last time, now I definately know, that the time for this is over ;)

Hey, wanna laugh ?

No, I don't wear these closes every day

oh, just because you can see me there looking very reputable

The other pictures that were shown in the past, always showed me looking very casual, like with the long hair :)

On the new foto, I'm always astonished again when I see it, it looks so much different compared to when I come home from swimming in the lake in the evening... well this is finished too now, sun goes down at 7 pm, and it is getting cold...

Best greetings to the warmer regions, I really like deserts (travelled to the african Sahara many years ago).

Mark, I`m still puzzled by your link, here`s where it takes you:
http://www.factoring-bw.de/ueber-uns/an ... rtner.html

I thought I`d post a desert pix of me for you...
It`s said that it`s about 100 years for each arm of the Saguaro cactus.
IF so... The one behind me is at least 800 years old !!! ~ 30 feet tall...

Just a guess, but I think Mark is referring to his discomfort at being photographed in a suit and tie! Kinda looks uncomfortable do you think?

yes that's it. And it was pretty hot when we made the fotos, so I usually prefer to wear a t-shirt just as Terry does on his picture :)

Terry, thanks for the foto, the cactus looks pretty impressioning, and I like to see the faces behind the nicks here after writing with you guys since so long! :-)
I think I really must visit the USA in some years, when I have a higher income for such a journey :D
