Just downloaded 430 but Xorg crashes and won't work so I'm left in Xvesa, also alsamixer crashes immediately and won't work.

Oddly both of these were fine in 425!!

I'm using a dell mini 9

Is it just me?

EDIT: I was running a frugal install without the zdrv .sfs........ stupid boy!

Have you checked the integrity of the download?

Did you get a good burn?

Which version of 430 did you try, some have been re-uploaded.

Yes!
Embarassed I mean no
I installed successfully on my netbook
but on my main machine the configuration is not permanent (running from CD) and I may have to revert to beta 3 Crying or Very sad

Do makes sure you use md5sum as suggested
