I totally changed the printing ui, I removed/splitup the code and made a new Gui, here's a pic of what it will look like in the next release.

Hey Ttuuxxx. Its 7.00 am here, so will get to testing later today. BTW, Simple Mail is set to play a sound when new mail arrives, either default beep or custom .wav if it is specified, yet in Puppy, it does not. It is working in Ubuntu. Any ideas?

well I finally had a chance to try the printer fix I made up and it works, pretty cool, I made up the fixes/new GUI without even testing it with a printer, lol, well my wifes pc is the only one with a printer and she was busy on it with her school work. So I had 5 mins and downloaded the patches and printer fix and it worked no problem at all

I don't use mail clients, I just include them for others who do But I'll look into it.

Hi ttuuxxx,
I am using puppies 4.3.1 .. thanks
You need to make symlink of xmessage to gxmessage, many applications using gxmessage, or include gxmessage and symlink to xmessage, whichever you want..thanks

Actually just include gxmessage...its much nicer and has xmessage commands as a subset and is about 19k.
All that work on 214x seems to be paying off here too

@ ttuuxxx: How about adding Streamtuner to the ISO?
I really miss that package
Viewnior also needs an update to v0.7:
New features:
------------------
* "Open With" menu
* Show/hide the toolbar
* New mouse wheel action - "Scroll image up/down"
Fixes:
--------
* Honor image orientation metadata
* Custom assigned keybindings don't get saved (#415022)
* Image height displayed incorrectly (#422507)
The project was started with "simple and fast" in mind. Cropping functionality in the last (0.7) release is the only and ,I assure you, the last exception.
No image editing or photo management tools will be implemented, nor that "ultra mega giga fancy" functionality you may want.

Ok guys next release has all the fixes of course and x-invaders, lol 16kb game I like, and tossed out 4 calculators and installed Galculator, added Transmission, Updated Viewnior to the latest, debating on Streamtuner, But I do think it should be in , tossed in Gxmessage so if it calls for xmessage thats what it gets and if it calls for gxmessage thats what it gets. Any last request, within reason, trying to keep this a min version.

More requests:
- GtkHash crashes when computing a SHA-512 hash (or any other algorithm other than MD5 and SHA-1) Please add at least SHA-512 and CRC32 support (for checking Windoze files).
- add some cursor themes - a white theme (i.e. good old classic-white without animations)
- Fix (remove/replace) 'Open with gview' in the right click context menu - there's no gview in Puppy 4.3. Add NicoEdit and Viewnior to that menu.
- Remove buggy / redundant apps like Zfind
- Remove the GLightsOff game (ewww!)
- Replace bcrypt with the more secure Pcrypt
- Remove the 'squiggles' and 'upup' wallpapers and bring back the brushed metal one.
