First, all checksums matched.
Booted frugal install and got to desktop and all was well.
Created pupsave, rebooted and all still well.
Copied 421 pupsave to 430scsi directory, renamed it, and rebooted.
430 went through the update process and continued booting.
Got no desktop, just black screen with a menubar and menu.
rxvt worked.
games worked.
ROX , wallpaper changer, Seamonkey, etc did not.
When trying them from rxvt, got an error of part of a library file not found.
Ok, I was being lazy and did not want to have to reinstall programs I had installed in 421.
But I suppose if you do not try to update an older pupsave file, it will work.

2009-2015 9 years. as 431 refused to install my laptop, i tried your version 430 and it works ! It was just a test. I don't keep it because nobody will help when i don't know how to do.
