I just copied a frugal install of 4.1.1 from one machine to another... IIRC the desktop drive icon system hasn't changed since 4.1.1, so I think it should still apply. I noticed the bug because I had a startup script to mount all the hard drives, and Puppy is installed in a different drive on the second machine.
Puppy is installed on /dev/sda1, which was also mounted a second time on /mnt/sda1. Whenever I clicked on the desktop drive icon it launched 3 Rox windows - one in /initrd/mnt/dev_save, and two in /mnt/sda1. After unmounting /mnt/sda1 it behaves normally, only opening one window, in /mnt/home.
