Sprint Sierra Wireless AirCard 580 won't work

I love Puppy Linux the best of all the one's I have tryed.
I can not for the life of me get it to see my aircard. Lights will not flash of any thing.
I can get it work on Damm Small Linux.

Anyone like to help Please.

The Sierra Aircard 580 is not officially supported in Linux, but apparently it's basically a modem which emulates two serial ports over a USB interface.
So the (standard) usbserial kernel module can be configured to use it. See here -

I can't see that DamnSmallLinux would be able to handle this device in any different manner.
