kontrollerlab and Puppy 4.2.1 |
|
Hi!
i did my first steps with puppy 4.2.1 and now i have to install kontrollerlab
http://www.cadmaniac.org/projectMain.php?projectName=kontrollerlab
- unzip "kontrollerlab-0.8.0-alpha1.tar.gz" o.k.
- ./configure stops with message
"configure:28494: error: Qt (>= Qt 3.2) (headers and libraries) not found. Please check your installation!
For more details about this problem, look at the end of config.log"
QT is installed (# qmake -v using QT version 4.3.2. //opt/qt4/lib)
Also , i tried
"Alternatively, it may help to specify the QT directory directly using a configure flag. For example, when QT is installed to /usr/lib/qt-3.3, try:
./configure --with-qt-dir=/usr/lib/qt-3.3"
http://www.cadmaniac.org/projectMain.php?projectName=kontrollerlab§ion=docs_installation
can anybody help me???
seems that kontrollerlab is running only with KDE (says configure file)?
Thanks!!!

why not just download the already compiled debian binary, then try running it with a puplet that has kde libraries, or using it with a kde .sfs file.

How To ... |
|
hey muggins,
thanks for your fast response!
i have not so much experiences with puppy linux. can you explain it step by step;-)
compile error is missing qt headers and libraries (i don't no why - opt/qt4/lib exist).
you recommended to install debian binary
http://sourceforge.net/projects/kontrollerlab/files/
"kontrollerlab_pre0.8.0.20070419-1_i386.deb" and then ... i'm confusing ...
where can i get a pupplet with kde libraries?
Thanks!

Kontrollerlab with pb-debianinstaller |
|
... next try with pb-debianinstaller
*.deb package: http://sourceforge.net/projects/kontrollerlab/files/Debian%20%28Sid%29/pre0.8.0%7E20070426/kontrollerlab_pre0.8.0.20070426-1_i386.deb/download
but after button "check dependencies" in pb-debianinstaller appears a wget:missing URL
wget-log says:

If you just click on the debian package, it will open in XArchive, then Select All>Extract, then choose to extract to /.
Possible puppy with KDE is Lighthouse. Or, if you want to try a KDE .sfs, try Tazoc's Mariner .sfs, which has KDE-3.5.10, as well as firefox, java & K3b.
