Scribus-1.3.3.13 QT3

#1 Post by ttuuxxx »

Well this is one of those difficult programs to compile/package up and well it took 2 days :) I compiled it on 2.14X-v8 so if your missing any deps just let me know and I'll try to work it out for you. This version has the latest QT4 version look, I spent countless hours changing almost all the GUI icons to tango, plus even the splash screen comes from the latest QT4 version, I only changed the number on it :)
This package contains the following
-Scribus of course
-libgcrypt
-libgnutls
-libgpg-error
-libqt-mt.so.3.3.8

You can also install the python package as optional, It will run without it but you'll get a startup error, and plus the scripts plugins won't work without Python. But you can still build pdf's with images and text etc.
The Python package is one that MU made up as a pup and I converted it to a pet. I did try to compile the QT4 but that was getting massive and had a few errors.

Ok guys on 2.14x thread I managed to figure out how to change the gui fonts and colours, basically like a gtk2 theme but for qt, so this should change all your qt3 applications at once :) now it will look and feel like a regular gtk2 application, how good is that ??

Amazing. Ttuuxxx, is there anything you CAN'T compile? I'm going start turning to you to compile things outside of software, other things I need like margarita.pet and sexybabysitter.pet

Well done,
Jake
