im not too technically gifted when it comes to making pupeee work without error with the specific hardware changes in the 701SD

im wondering if someone already has a pupeee 4.something that has either the newer kernel (with fixes) rolled in, or one with the needed drivers added for network, wifi, full touchpad features and hotkeys ??

any direction would be appreciated

(thanks to those who suggested how to compile a fixed kernel, and thoughts on drivers....... but hoping there's something already done as I say... most of it goes over me.)

Try Barry's new 4.3beta1 with the kernal.

Running it on my 701SD now - fantastic.

A beta2 is due soon - but beta1 is very good - better than many RC's.

I think you will be very pleased.

Hope that helps - best regards - Ray
