It doesn't work on a lot of on-board video cards even if you are using Xorg... which is silly when Windows can control gamma on the same cards _________________ DEATH TO SPREADSHEETS

It's all a bit silly ..eg I have a flat screen and is too bright even with its own controls set to minimum...and xvesa has no apparant control option...without xgamma puppy would be unuseable on it (or any other linux?)...such a basic need to be lacking is erm...well lost for words
