Holtz: wx-based strategy games

#1 Post by muggins »

http://holtz.sourceforge.net/
With Holtz, you can play the abstract strategy games Zèrtz and Dvonn. Both of them are board games invented by Kris Burm, and are part of the GIPF project. Recently a third game called Relax was added. It is based on the board game "Take it easy" and can be played alone as well as with up to ten players.

I've uploaded this here(1882kbytes): holtz-1.3.0-i486.pet

It needs wxGTK-2.8.7-i486.pet.

Run via Menu>Fun>Holtz

PET files

#2 Post by windiana »

As the author of Holtz I am always happy for any links to holtz on other webpages.
I have never heard anything about files with .pet extension. Can someone teach me what systems this is useful for?
I would appreciate if someone would take the responsibility to continuously update .pet packages whenever new versions of Holtz are released. Please contact windiana@users.sf.net.

@windiana,

.pets are a puppy linux package. To see their internals just rename xxx.yyy.pet to xxx.yyy.tgz, then extract somewhere.
