JWM Theme Maker 2.2 (June 2016)
How does one make a pet of created themes?
Hi Trio, or Anyone:
Trio, love your theme-maker. It's just that elegant touch that enables those of us to have our finished (if that ever happens ('')) Puppy look just right.
Probably those of you who made themes the old fashioned way already know. But I'm not among them (''). And there are probably other Puppy fans who also don't know. If I wanted to make a pet of the files/folders used by the gorgeous theme I just created so that I could use it in a different Puppy, which files/folders would I have to include?
Of course, if you have nothing better to do, version 1.6 including a radio button to load and save one's work as a pet would be great.

i think so. when i made a test theme, saving it automatically activated it. when i went to put back my original theme, the new settings for active taskbar item and the popup seem to have overwritten the originals.trio wrote:Hi Puppus,Puppus Dogfellow wrote:cool. thanks for this, trio. preview feature's a great idea.
Great, any bug?
edit: the old popup is back after a round of theme switches, but the active item appears to still be affected.

1. Yes save is always + apply now, cuz I need to capture the preview of it on desktop
2. I Can't duplicate your bug, sorry. So, no error for me
thanks & regards

you're welcome and no big deal--i'll just change it back in the jwmrc-theme file (though this one is brighter and easier to see and i've already gotten used to it).trio wrote:Hi again,Puppus Dogfellow wrote: i think so. when i made a test theme, saving it automatically activated it. when i went to put back my original theme, the new settings for active taskbar item and the popup seem to have overwritten the originals.

Version 1.7: replace binary rgb2hex to a bash script called rgb2hexscript

I previously had it in the 'noarch' repo, but realised that it has a x86 binary executable in it, so have moved it to 'common'.
Recently, L18L has internationalised the script, so I have created a new PET, and bumped the version from 1.5 to 1.5.1 (5K):
