according to the boxpup-thread (http://murga-linux.com/puppy/viewtopic.php?t=41378) it has xfmedia as media-player. according to especially this picture on/off their homepage, xfmedia "should" be able to handle shoutcast streams (at least mp3, ogg, ...).

if not, try for example alsaplayer (http://distro.ibiblio.org/pub/linux/distributions/puppylinux/pet_packages-4/alsa-streamtuner-3.pet
(this is a bundled alsaplayer+streamtuner what would fit your interest)

I installed the alsa-streamtuner-3, and it's just what's needed.

ENORMOUSLY long list of music types, and sub-classifications, and radio stations, and it's really easy to "Tune in". Very Happy

Here's the alsa-streamtuner-3.pet link given by aragon.
When I click on this link a dialog appears offering the opportunity to either install or save the pet file.
Do you get that?

(i think) browser-dependant, pet-packages are sometimes not seen as "packages" to download but as files to display. if this occurs simply right-click on the link and "Save target as...". Once downloaded, navigate to the folder where you've downloaded the pet and left-click on it...
