else you can try scrolling with the scroll arrows on the side of the console.

I have never seen this problem with rxvt and am curious, what Puppy and window manager are you seeing the problem on, are you using XOrg or XVesa, what video adapter and monitor?

most of the required info can be got from my signature because i dont know it off hand.. defaut, i forget those too but it definitely was default selections in 4.2.1
occurs more noticeably when reviewing the rxvt after viewing another widow on top of the rxvt eg. while websurfing in opera and then going back to rxvt to see how your wget download is progressing. however even on opening rxvt there is a lot of white dots, lines and general things that shouldn't be there in the black background. 421 is the most noticeable, havent had this issue to any extent in other puppies.
