Weird Mozilla 1.8b1.5 behaviour

I accessed Yahoo.com And read a news story. There was an accompaning advertisement from CNN promoting Anderson Coopers new show. It became a large image and filled most of the screen. It was downloading form
gfx.dvlabs.com. Looks like a video playing window or something.

Couldn't get it to close or leave the screen.

Could this be because I don't have Jave installed in my Puppy 1.0.6?

I made a workaround by clicking the printable view link which made the story all text.
