phpBB sending private message error

I got this message today when I tried to send a pm. I think it was sent, so it maybe just a temporary server problem. If others are getting it, it may need to be investigated.

yep, seen that a few times recently ....

some sort of timing problem, I think

did a back button, refresh, repost

it warns of a new post, if it posted - saves double posting,

....though it doesn't always work

you can check if it was sent by looking in your messages outbox

In my experience, when it gives that error message the actual posting has worked. But it may not have sent out any email notifications that it was supposed to send. But yeah, check your outbox. If it isn't there, then either the recipient read it already, or it didn't send. Check the sent box to rule out the former.
