TP-Link TL-WN322G not working in 4.21 Subject description: Working now
I got a TP-Link TL-WN322G USB modem because of some info in another thread that said with the proper pet driver it would work with Puppy but I can't get the browser to connect although the config process goes fine and tells me I have an internet connection. I installed the zd1211rw-TPLink-k2.6.25.16 package and I'm using Puppy 4.21.
I'm new to Puppy and almost as new to linux; if there are any shell commands I can run and post the output to debug this it would sure be great as the system tells me the USB stick has a 100% strength connection whereas the one I'm currently using is awful; I can't use it outside of the room the router is in.
Edit: it started working this evening. All I did was boot the machine and this time it worked. I didn't do anything different other than swap modems! Too mysterious for me...
