Have got this old omnibook going again... after loaning it to a friend for a couple of years. Did a frugal install of 4.2 onto a hard disk partition ... and have got GRUB working so I can triple-boot.

Now to get onto the internet. The omnibook has an Actiontec internal usb modem ... which puppy's network manager tells me is served by the 'famous' prism2_usb module. Not much more than that. All attempts to bring up the wlan0 up ... come to nothing.

Two years ago, I was advised that I would have to issue some command line commands to get this working ... and that was for Puppy 2.15!!! Have we made no progress with this since then? Is the way forward still to find that small script and hack it to fit my home network details??

If this is so, can someone tell me where to find it ... and will it work for Puppy 4.20?
