Would someone make a .pet of Esperanto course .deb?

Would anyone have time to convert this deb to a Puppy pet package? I don't know how to do it myself. It's a text and audio course in Esperanto (an international language). Perhaps sometime others would like to use it too.

Link to the deb: http://kurso.com.br/kurso-3.0.deb

It's on this page: http://www.kurso.com.br/bazo/elshuto.php?en

Any help would be much appreciated.

Hello,
I also have an interest in Esperanto, so I made a .pet of the course and it works nicely in puppy 214X4. :)
But, I cannot upload it :( , maybe it exceeds some size limitation for attachments (it's 16 MB).
Is there somewhere else I can upload it?

Thanks very much for your help robwoj44. But there is a problem. When attempting to install the pet I got this message:
***
PETget: package expansion ERROR
There was an error expanding package kurso.tar.gz.
Either the file is corrupted, or has not expanded into its own directory with the name of kurso/ (which is how most packages expand).
You will have to go into /root/.packages/ directory and manually clean it up.
***
I downloaded it again and the same thing happened. Do you know why?

It'll work if you rename it to its original name esperanto.pet.
Hope that helps/

Yes of course. Thank you MinHundHettePerro for this remark. I was in hurry when I made this pet. It will be renamed to esperanto in dotpups too.

Changing the name worked, thank you, but I have another problem.

I set the mp3 and wav player in this application to gxine. When I click on any of the audio links in the lessons, gxine opens, but everything then freezes. I'm using Puppy 4.1.2 by the way.

Is there a way to fix this?

Yes.
Start rather kurso in terminal by typing kurso and change gxine to mplayer (it is better to have something that can play sound without opening gui as gxine).

Success! Thank you robwoj44 and MinHundHettePerro.

Using the US keyboard layout, I have tried to type Esperanto diacritical marks in the Geany text editor and Abiword with no success.

These are the diacritical marks in Esperanto: (circumflex) ĉ Ĉ

mi ne parolas la esperanton lingvo.

But it is very easy, I started a course 25 years ago.
Might be funny to learn it again, I must google, if there is a esperanto group in Karlsruhe :D
Oh yes, there is one, I will try to find out, when they have the next meeting.

Hi Mu. I also learned a little Esperanto many years ago, but gave it up because about all you could do with it then was to correspond with penfriends by snail mail. Since the advent of the Internet however, opportunities to use Esperanto have obviously grown. Another interesting development is that it is has been gaining some popularity amongst young people in China, Korea and Japan. Yet another is the transfer of the "pasporta servo" system from a paper-based one to the Internet.

I'm sure there will be some interest in the Esperanto version of Puppy Linux mentioned by patisery above.

Mu - I forgot to say that if you want to start learning again, you could try the esperanto.pet package for Puppy Linux using the link above kindly provided by robwoj44 and MinHundHettePerro. It works fine.
