PostPosted: Sun 28 Jun 2009, 09:51    Post subject:  /etc/fontmap and /etc/codepage
Subject description: these files what for?

/etc/rc.d/rc.country and /usr/sbin/input-wizard
set /etc/fontmap and /etc/codepage from selected keyboard layout.

i think that is quite nonsense beacuase puppy has now locale system.
they (fontmap and codepage) should be defined from the locale
not from the keyboard.

anyway, who (what program) reads these (fontmap and codepage) files?
