You may need to change the user agent on your browser in about:config to download from skydrive.

I would also get a newer version of Mplayer than is supplied with Puppy to use some of the more exotic features in SMPlayer.

This is the version I made for J-Upup http://distro.ibiblio.org/pub/linux/dis ... 486-uj.pet back in may, it includes the mplayer parts, 4.1MB pet.

as for mplayer I have:

ttuuxxx is yours newer/better and can it play theora?

2015 : version 14.9.0 (found in the menu PuppyBang Tahpup).
SMplayer is a nice Videoplayer..
Extensions MPEG and MP4 are no trouble.
