Where I can get tgz2pet software.
It is not in pet repository in my Version 4.1.2.
To try some slackware stuff I would need that software, right?('')
Sorry I am a very silly beginner.

You can install Slackware apps using Gslapt.
It can be installed from here
http://www.murga-linux.com/puppy/viewtopic.php?p=196585
If you want the whole development package to compile and do tgz2pet etc, you can find it here: http://puppylinux.ca/puppyfiles/sfs_modules-4/
You need the DEVX_412.sfs
Enjoy

I've certainly installed and compiled a lot of software.
I have yet to find an occasion where I would either need or
want to put files from one package to another prior to
install. And certainly no need in order to make the install.
The basic procedure being; open the package for real or in a
virtual file system, inspect the contents and make a sensible
file copy operation, which I think only a human can do.
Then test the new installation.
