http://dotpups.de/dotpups/WindowManagers/Fluxbox-0.9.14-PuppyMenuGenerator.pup (7 kb)

Simply install, it overrides your fluxbox-menu.
It will have just 2 entries, the fluxbox-menu and "Create Puppy Menu".

Click on that, and you have all entries from your JWM-Menu.

This Program "jwm2fluxbox" is a simple Puppybasic-Script Razz

If you want to add menu-entries manually, use menu-template , not menu, as menu will be completely replaced by the script.

Greets, Mark

Great Razz

I updated the Dotpup, now it automatically runs the script to remove dead entries from the Dotpups-Menu when you "Reload Menu".

(you must install this one too, so that it works):

I could speed up the Icons by using a small C-program that scales them to a "Cache" to 12x12 Pixel.
This also gives better quality than letting fluxbox scale them.
And when you add entries with the menueditor, they will appear before the puppy-menu.

You now can choose in the "fluxbox menu", if you want icons or not.
You also can start fluxconf from there, and you can "Empty Icon Cache".
The last just is needed, when the original jwm-icons are replaced, for example when you update to Puppy 2.6.81.

Simply download/install the Dotpup again.
Building the cached icons the first time will take some seconds.

Before installing, backup menu-template if you edited it with the menueditor, as it will be overwritten by the installer!

The icons make a huge difference to ease of use (using this fluxbox now - no problems!)
This seems even with the icons, the fastest of the usable menus - be interested how others get on . . .

Cool

hm.. the 12 Pixel-Icons looked ok in the Aqua-Theme, but ugly in larger ones like "daft".

I uploaded a new version, that lets you select between 12 and 16 Pixel.
Maybe I should add an input-dialog for free choice tomorrow.
