Update . Work on the next Macpup is almost finished. The only issue I am having is with the .062 build of e17 , the battery module isnt working right,maxing out the cpu .So I am going to remove it and add a script for puppy to check battery status. Everything else is working fine.

Since your not really telling me anything, I have no idea how to fix it. Boot up the cd and run it in ram to see what happens ,if it boots straight into the e17 desktop your download is probably good.I would say you need to re-install at that point. It sounds like /.e is getting deleted but i have no idea why that would be happening.

Env pb resolved Subject description: profile.cfg corrupted |
|
@runtt21,
So problem is now resolved :
in fact file .e/e/config/profile.cfg was badly corrupted and impossible to delete ( so impossible to save even a new env.)
I forced an fsck.ext2 on the partition and replace the file by the one from iso, evrery thing is back to live.

I can't get the devx-431.sfs to load on boot? Any ideas I tried changing the name from devx_431.sfs and still doesn't work?

Macpup Opera is built on 4.2 not 4.3.1 , Macpup Foxy 3.0 is built on 4.3.0 with the updates for 4.3.1. You need the devx-420.sfs for both version of Opera.
