We are at #8 again today !! I am goin to wait to post exhibit ,I am making a guide for it to explain some issues it has. It's just an image viewer from the e17 SVN . It has become a little side project for me. I think they (e17) have given up on it ,they have it under /OLD and no one has contributed any new code to it in over a year. But I like it and I am tiring to get it to work with puppy cause I would like to included it in the next Macpup. It need some extra e17 libs like epsilon and emotion ( i have them ready to go) and ETK ,Enlightenment Tool Kit . The Edje-editor also needs Etk.
This is what the current build of exhibit looks like :

The .pets for Etk , epsilon & emotion are available from my page , These are compiled for .061 only .
http://macpup.org/runtt21/
I also have themes there :
Fox_blue.edj ( included in opera )
Megan_Fox2.edj (included in opera061)
Backgrounds :
Both Liquid-metal.edj 's
LOTR2.edj ( included in opera )
enrotacion-m9 ( included in both opera & 061 )
Boot splashes :
both init-macfox .edj ( boot splashes from macpup Foxy e17 )

You can also use different themes on etk. Download a etk themes and put the .edj in /usr/share/etk/themes. then open a terminal and run etk_prefs . Choose your theme and apply.

This is very much a work in progress. It Has a few issues that I dont have fixed yet.Like I said I hope to have these fix for the next macpup,If not I may try to take the options out altogether.
The first is Tabs : Exhibit can open different images in tabs like firefox can have different pages open. The problem is when you try to close one of the tabs Exhibit will crash.
The second is options : If you try to apply changes in options Exhibit will crash.
The third is Other Image editors : Exhibit can open gimp , mt paint or inkscape in puppylinux, but It doesn't have them open the image that you are looking at .You still need to open it in gimp.
The other small issue is Favorites. Exhibit can save images to a fav. folder , root/.e/exhibit/Favorites , But when you click view favorites it doesn't show anything in the folder But if you hit the arrow up once to exit the favs folder and then click on the folder your stuff is there.
Also sometimes you need to double click the arrow to exit a directory .
Everything else ( and exhibit can to alot ) works .It can rename images and move them around. It can play a slide show. It can add effects to images like blur / sharpen/ brighten and save them but you cant change the effects setting cause of issue # 2 .
The set as wallpaper doesn't work . Exhibit cant make a .edj file.
You must have ekt ,epsilon and emotion installed in opera061 to run Exhibit. Adding a etk theme will change it's looks. Like the shots I have of it earlier in this thread.

Let me explain the favorites issues better . When you click on View Favorites:
It doesn't show anything in the folder BUT just click on the arrow:
Then click on the folder :
And there is your stuff !!

I cant say for sure cause I dont have access to a aspire but I have read that the kernel 4.2.0 uses doesn't play well with the aspire. You may need to wait for 4.3 when we will have a newer kernel. I dont have any problems on my Toshiba with usb or sd . The aspire pup is suppose to be configured to handle that. If it doesn't work for you you may be out of luck for now.Sorry.

Word's getting around, Runtt....and a little PR here'n'there never hurts..
Macpup certainly seems to be taking on a life of its own these days...which is cool.

macpup061 wallpaper.. Subject description: background for Verdegal's red theme |
|
Hi guys,
I've made a background to complement Verdegal's fabulous A-Plat-Red-Macpup theme. The screens are taken from this here T40P laptop, which has a 1400x1050 res, the same as the image size.
Comments welcome....oops, apologies for large file-sizes
LONG LIVE MACPUP....WOOF!
