Subject description: First released screenshot

Hello everyone,
Being a one man band TEENpup 2009 Legacy has taken a bit longer then I expected to be finished for release. It's close very close. Here's the first screenshot of what to expect. Still a little more fine tuning to do.

How close is "very close"?

If I remember correctly, I think I saw a post saying this 2009 edition should be released in April.

Today is the end of May. Almost half of the year is gone and I do hope 2009 edition come into being in 2009.

In the US, every movie is advertized as "Coming to the theater near you soon"

I hope this will be "coming to the mirror near you soon"

Hurry up and wait.. Sounds very familiar.

John

Hello puppyiso,
TEENpup will be released in the next 2 weeks or less, final bit of polish going on as we speak. I was summoned for Jury Duty and selected as a Juror and between working full time, looking after my family and this Jury Service, I've been slowed down a little. I want this release to be as good as I can get it.

Hello linuxsansdisquedur,
All I'll say at this time is that a lot of work has been done under the skin so to speak and that the Applications included in this release of TEENpup are to make TEENpup as useful as possible to the average home user. It is just under 700Mb's so it fits on a CD and does now include Open Office 3.1 including all its Help Docs.

It really is a stand alone Operating System that is usable Day to Day.

I will say that some of the Applications included in earlier versions of TEENpup have been dropped for one reason or another.
