Thanks ttuuxxx, I liked its easy use and single file configuration.

I´m configuring it with the same tab and apps scheme from Dpup. Using Crystal Project Icons and searching for even more crystal icons (48x48 size).

I´ll try to release a pet with the new icons soon. I only hope not to use more than 100 KB for it.

Hi clarf, maybe just use a simple icon, and rename it for each menu item, Then when I get your package, I'll apply icons for it, The reason why is that, I have hundreds and hundreds of icons and usually I compress them better and make them much smaller than the default size :) kind of like what I did with the mimes icons :) Barry's was larger, and about 12 or so less. My were smaller in size overall and better looking :)

214XRC

Did download it immediately, unfortunately no time to test it/try to break it in another ten days, working intensively for two weeks now, 14+ hrs/day :( :( :)

Cheers :)/

Hi ttuuxxx,

I attach the tabble configuration file. I used the standard icons from 214X to see the final appearance, just change what you want, I´m totally convinced of your designer/artistic capabilities.

If some one wants to include/exclude some of the listed items, please test the configuration file and then reply.

Thanks,
clarf

Hi Guys Here's Pburn for 2.14X, It needed 3 files to work, So this is a all in one version. Plus I made up a new theme for it. Screenshot below :)
It will also be in the next release, just wondering do you want more features in it, like dvd movie burning, normalise volume etc ? Might tripple the size, hmmm I'll see.

ps if anyone wants to hack it and add the xfburn icons located in /usr/share/icons/hicolor/24x24/stock/media
to the 5 Buttons near the top that have Burn-iso image, Black CD/DVD-rw, Copy Data Disk, Copy audio Cd, Copy/Shrink Video DVD
that would really dress it up :)
well enjoy and thanks Zigbert for fixing Pburn so that it can work on older kernels :)

Pburn:
That definitely looks good and yes I'd love to have DVD video burning included.
Still not at my PC with 214X on it so can't test until the weekend
Thanks

do you want me to rewrite the tabble executable so it is Puppy Control Panel and not tabble, like I did with Dpup, I have the source, it would take a couple of minutes to do any changes...

Here's table renamed 2.14X Control panel with clarf's apps added
Is this supposed to be functional or just a graphic for comments?
It certainly doesn't work in my 214x RC frugal even after a reboot.
And can I suggest it goes other than in Menu>Personal. Suggest Setup.

Thanks ttuuxxx,

I didn´t fully tested 214X, so don´t know if bootmanager, remaster, installer, etc. works with the X change made to SFS. ttuuxxx did you run MHHP script to change all "R" to "X" references?, page 157:

http://www.murga-linux.com/puppy/viewto ... start=2347

The only one thing that I didn´t see in my initial test, was my updated rc.shutdown script :( , I made it to let users customize the pup_save name, please add this to next release (it´s down in same page 157).

Thanks again,
clarf

Yes I ran the script, It was only just my sfs converter that wasn't changed.

I thought I added your new rc.shutdown, hmmm can you upload it again please :)

Oh dear, I must be tired.
Yes it works clicking the titles not icons. I hope it won't always be like that. Find it rather counter-intuitive, which I just seem to have proven. :-)
