SeaMonkey 2.0 [latest nightly snapshot (May 06, 2009)]
With the speed of Opera, the features of Firefox and the stability of SeaMonkey 1.x, 'Salty Shrimp' 2.0 is light years ahead of the competition - a true web browser of the future:
What's new in Seamonkey 2.0:
--------------------------------------
* Lightning fast engine
* Greatly improved page rendering
* Supports Firefox extensions
* Plugin manager
* Full page zoom (with images)
* Customisable Toolbars
* Crash Recovery (Session Restore)
* RSS Feeds support
* Brand new look
* Increased Stability
and much more.
DOWNLOAD:
http://stashbox.org/508863/seamonkey-2.0-prebeta.pet
If Puppy reports any missing dependencies during the installation, just ignore the message.
Start SeaMonkey 2.0 from the menu (or run the 'seamonkey' script in /root/seamonkey), import your existing SM 1.1 profile and enjoy the flight
This package won't replace your existing version of SeaMonkey, so you can still use the good old 1.1.x with the original profile and test this cutting-edge build.

The Seamonkey 2.0 beta is out now and I have used both the last alpha and the beta and I find it to be quick--quicker than any of the old generation pre-gecko 1.9.1 browsers. I also found it to be more stable than the comparable Firefox (3.5b4).

I have packaged and placed ch-seamonkey-2.0-prebeta.sfs in the puppylinux.asia repository for use in ChoicePup and other Puppy4.xx's.
Thanks panzerpuppy, J

Using it now via the SFS package. Totally Totally brilliant! Have the .mozilla directory on sda3 and symlinked in root, so no increase in pup_save use. I even like the theme................

Looks like............. Actually feels snappier than Op 10! Can also render the webcam page on courchevel.com too, which Opera cant.

Should I have all those dependencies missing when installing pet? I write this in it now, so it works, but still I wonder are they required... I'm on puppy 4.1.

Tried it in Jaunty Pup (5.xx series Alpha 6) did not work
but other sfs compiled for 4.xx are not working either.
So it needs compiling from Jaunty Pup
