This uplet is amazing, it's just what I've been
looking for. The only trouble is it cant see my DVD writer
or my USB thumb drive.
Puppy 4.2 I had installed on my machine first. Then I installed
the Medai pup directly after trialling that. I'm new to Linux
What i got was a combination of (Deep Thought 4.2 - Background)
and Media pup apps that looked like cogs on the desktop and the
Media pup apps all worked!?!
I then rebooted and did the load to ram only with no saves running
option and Media pup took a while to get in, but it did
but no DVD-rw and usb now
Also found configuring DHCP near impossible. When it was running fine in
Puppy 4.2.
I'm using Live distros and my machne is an ACER Travelmate 4150
with 512 Mb RAM. Pentium M 740 1.73 Ghz
Any help...thanks
Can't wait for 4.2version of Media PUP an awesome suite! I'm off to tell the world!

I don't think I am adequately skilled to help you, but I sympathize with folks who like this Puplet, cause I like and use it too Hmm. When you say it can't see your DVD drive, what programs in specific would that be? K3b, Pmount? Also, when referring to your USB in the same manner, what programs can't see it? Hope we find the solution to your problem.
