Hi,
I'm still new to Linux .... and Puppy too
I used to use a program like ProgDVB in Windows to access my DVB card SkyStar2 and recieve sat channels.
So is it possible to make that work with Puppy ? and how?
Thanks.
Can SkyStar2 Sat TV rcvr card work with Puppy?
Try GeexBox linux, small and listed supported
I have one of the USB versions, both where listed as being supported with this 11M linux distro. I need to try mine out but my dish has been knocked out of alinment by a cow.
Thanks Ted
GeexBox is pretty cool (6MB!). As you said, I think SkyStar2 is supported by GeexBox, but I wanted to do the thing with Puppy, because GeexBox doesn't have Internet support .... I would live my media center to have Internet surfing at least. And I think GeexBox needs time to be better.
In Puppy, I opened Xine and I saw that there is "DVB", but it doesn't work ..... and i heard something about playlist ... so i was opening something and I saw it is askin to run the scan utility! .. where is that??
Your dish is hit by a cow
Good luck.
Thanks a lot
