4.2 Upgrades

#1 Post by Lobster »

Image

Some program updates may still find themselves in 4.1
but I am starting this thread for small programs and updates for inclusion in 4.2

Tiny programs such as Petch:
http://www.murga-linux.com/puppy/viewto ... 771#231771

Another example is this as the default webpage:
http://www.openplatformeducation.org/pupweb.html

Which programs, updates that are available have been overlooked
and need to be considered for 4.2?

The new home of the puppy web desktop is http://pupweb.org/desktop

if its not already there I can and skreemr too when I get home (I would check but I admittedly haven't added full support for IE/opera yet)

I could easily adapt for 4.1, 4.2 or puplet - would just need the RC to ensure the right icons & background

Hi

Puppy in 5 - that would be nice

Wonder if BK is already working on it

Suspect he might be - 4.1 is already showing
faster boot times even on my old clunker's.

So presumably even faster on the latest screecher.

In anticipation - Best regards - Ray
