OK you win! Ive changed the cybercafe system so that it is a 100% Puppy Linux affair. The clients are now booted from a PL machine and the smoothwall is taken out of the equation. Will this mean Mark that your icafe Solution looks like it is back on! 
The cafe also has a new "network topography" http://www.murga-linux.com/puppy/viewtopic.php?mode=attach&id=20868 Im looking to remove cafepilot from the setup, as its java requirement increases the memory overhead of the cybercafe too much. Its also far too buggy, complicated and over-featured. I will give the icafe package a test and see what is needed.
