I need a puplet with puppy 412, any suggestion ?

#1 Post by rheya »

oh yes, I love puppy linux, but I am a beginner in linux, so I'd love to have a wholly functional pc without too many searches.
I already downloaded skype myself, ufraw too and firefox too, but I need a puplet that had thunderbird , open office ( or koffice ) as a office suite and finally that my creative webcam and scanner ( epson stylus DX 3800 ) working.....
I'd like a puppy 412 version because the older are too difficult to me and in the 420 my printer doesn't work
any suggestion?
maybe one day I'll put a puplet myself when I'll be more expert , I have already decided the name :
" icecream pup " ( of course )
thanks in advance

Glad to hear you're enjoying Puppy :) Looking at your needs, I'd say X-Pup seems to fit your bill quite well. Have a look and see what you think. Let me know if it's not what you're after. I'll keep my eyes open in the mean time for other options.

You're very welcome. :) I'm sure it's live CD, I've yet to have heard of a Puppy that wasn't.

Edit: It's based on NOP which is a live CD so all's certainly good.
