Development seems to be coming along nicely. The changelog shows quite rapid development, so someone might like to compile from svn (or whatever they use). Compiled against exiv2 and lcms, but not lirc. It can now use exif thumbnails (yay), which it loads 5% faster than ROX for me, but it still loads them 333% slower than Xnview in Wine 
I wonder how Xnview is so amazing...
