documentation formats (note not formatting =)

#1 Post by Seth »

What formats should we release the documentation as? (note by format i mean, PDF, html, etc etc; in addtion to the main www page) should we have a general poll to find out what ones the end users want?
and who would oversee the production of with what versions of the documentation?

just a thought.....

[......also kinda wondering... can we get speel cheks in this here forum?...... i kinda need one =o) ]

I suggested HTML originally as Mozilla has Composer in it which makes it easier for non-HTML people to just write their documentation similar to a wordprocessor add to this the fact that we are using Dillo as the default for the help files in Puppy.

I agree with Ian. HTML is being used and can be converted to PDF for those so wishing. PDF is slower.
