My Puppy is more gorgeous than yours!
And new screeny once again:
PuppyRus-A-x64
- XFCE with AlmostDark (default there) theme
- Zekton font
- My own smartphone (Moto Droid RAZR HD) photo of river Moyka in Saint-Petersburg:
the leftmost house - just the very edge of it is visible and overlapped with left-side panel - is my parental home, where I have lived for almost 30 years and where I'm coming time to time last 12 years...
Not very good shot at full zoom but that's just the phone...

Try this pet on our fresh (pfix=ram) puppy..

Edit:
Rodocop, How to insert Big Image tobe smaller in this forum like yours?
I try using img tag, but it is very big size.

Yours is too big for the forum.
Here I've resized to almost 44% and converted to jpg.
I think board limits are 6/700px(?) wide x 250kb's. Your file went to 599x41kb's.
Ta'boot, this boards posting FAQ is WAAAAY outta date!
If you want permanence, resize and attach -- It's the *responsible* approach.

If you're gonna link, thumbnails keep users with smaller resolutions from having a horizontal scrollbar. Can I post Images?
Images can indeed be shown in your posts. However, there is no facility at present for uploading images directly to this board.

recobayu,
I'm uploading my screenies to Postimage or UltraImg sites - they provide ready links for thumbnails for your images.
Postimage makes only small thumbs but UltraImg provides also medium thumbs like in my last post.
then i've inserted medium thumb with IMG tag and link it to fullsize picture with URL tag:

Hi, BillToo.
It's pretty, but IMO it looks too much like any other Linux out there.
There's no trace of the typical triangle of icons at the top left of the screen,
there's no trace of the partitions line at bottom left, both of which are distinctive
of a Puppy desktop.
BFN.

A number of recent shots don't look 'puppyish' - as number of modern puplets do follow the rule "the world spreads out way beyond" (c) not only jwm but rox-desktop too.musher0 wrote:Hi, BillToo.

The power of Puppy is that it can look like big Linux still remaining little, fast and cute Puppy
So my likes to the last shot and author!

Hello all.
There's also: http://myphotos.mypclinuxos.com from our Linuxian friends at
PcLinuxOS. You need to register but it's free. If you wish, you can become a paying
member, but they don't force it on you.
That's the site I use when I want to incorporate a picture in the text -- not just tag it
as an attachment after the text (which is the default on this forum).

You can freely upload without reg to Postimage or UltraImg or almost every modern image hosting.starhawk wrote:Imgur kinda rules for this stuff you don't even need an account to upload (I don't have one)...
The account is only for some guarantee that images wouldn't disappear some day in visible future.
