My Puppy is more gorgeous than yours!
Updated Screenshot
Updated to the new Vista_Black theme and KDE icons.
I'm biased but I think this is just purrfect!

kids today! now i know how my mom feels in front of my computer... that's the difference between me and a lot of people... they want 3d tilted windows (on the computer, not a car...) and i just want to turn the clock off! i just "modded" <clock format=" "> and now *I'm* thrilled with my "custom job"
i have cleaned up some of the icons tho... that pixel on the one for rxvt is gone, thankfully

I cannot see the last picture in the message, but if I click here it works:

I'll try to embed it:
Is that the Metisse from my dotpup?
Did it work without tweaks?
Great work, how you customized it

Hello Everybody!
I'm a bit new here, but I've just spent an evening playing with Ultra IceWm and the Greenbuntu theme and thought I'd show you all the results. I think it looks rather gorgeous even if I do say so myself...
(sorry for the multiple images)
Incidentally, I've been lurking around this forum for well over 18 months. I must check it nearly everyday to see how my favourite distro is progressing. I think I started pleasuring myself with puppies back at version 0.9.3 or something.

Puppy 2.11 Growls!
Thought you'd like to see the latest.
Re: Puppy 2.11 Growls!
install and tweaking...
pupwin98 + upgrade to 2.11 - trash and xlock icons + wine and piki
running xmplay for windows (gpl mp3+ogg)
uses same playlist for puppy and windows for people like lobster and me (who still use win for something)
cropped the default wallpaper, stretched to 1024x768 and changed the hue to bluish, and removed the icon and menu labels (the menu button is still there) and the clock.
seamonkey opens faster

erikkire and jacklayne; not a rebuke but friendly advice ... you can save some pressure on the file area of this board by hosting your screenshots at http://www.tinypic.com That will allow you to embed a link to the image on the tinypic server, rather than downloading here as an attachment to your message.erikkire wrote:another screenshot that rocks!
Just a thought that was likewise passed to me here quite some time ago by a friendly fellow denizen.
Cheers

Seamonkey Background
I thought Puppy Seamonkey should have an appropriate marine look.

You may try xfce, this WM has no desktop icons and you can have random pics in the background.Taavi wrote:I don't like icons covering my whole desktop - why use the background image if you can't see it? But I like my wife .. I am not sure if she likes appearing in this forum, so let's be quiet about this.
If I only could get a random background picture for my desktop ...
And now a taste of thing to come. . .
Do you like that?
