Currently most monitors are widescreen, what about to have the taskbar on one side (left or right).
As has been doing a good job on JWM (Patriots), and Zigbert created Pwidgets and Ptray, would it be possible to merge in only one tool JWM tray, Ptray and Pwidget in the form of a tray along the entire height of the screen and about 2.5 cm wide (1 inch). Only additional pet package, it would not be proposed in the iso.
Part 1 : (upper) JWM tray with Menu button and Quit button (opening different options to quit, restart, prompt etc) on two columns.
The line below a Help button and a Config button to initiate a panel config (Technosaurus PCP).
Then virtual desktops available on 4 columns and two rows (if more than 4 desktops).
Then the tasks currently running line by line.
Part 2 : Ptray displaying on 4 columns the quick launch icons applications (choices in the config Ptray).
Part 3 : (at the botom) Pwidget with a two-column display of hours, memory, sound etc ...
