Can you make the wallpaper lighter?

#1 Post by Theo Tulley »

Thanks for a very comprehensive and easy-to use distro - BUT:

Please can the icon subtitles in the desktop be set in a white font instead of black, so that they can be easily read?

The very nice picture used as wallpaper gives locally a dark background which makes the top 3 lines virtually unreadable. .

I'm using Puppy 4.0.

Yours sincerely,

Theo Tulley.

Right click on one of the icons,
then select: ROX-Filer > Options
When the Options window comes up, click on Pinboard in the lefthand list.
You can change the colours there (on the righthand side)

Hope this helps

Thanks a lot, CatDude.

I afterwards discovered that the icons can be dragged to a lighter background.

Yours sincerely,
