I'll also post qplayer which is an extra in the qdvdauthor package. One version dependant on libxine & the other on mplayer.

Indeed it doesn't work for puppy 3.01.

qdvdauthor: /usr/lib/libstdc++.so.6: version `GLIBCXX_3.4.9' not found (required by qdvdauthor)

Can you compile it to work for puppy 3.01?

I also downloaded tgz file of qdvdauthor from slackware 12 and run tgz2pet, then install it.

But I encountered some problems, all the thumbnails shows "ERROR".
not sure why.

Try to run qdvdauthor from the command line and maybe you'll see the error why you can't see thumbnails. Do you have both mplayer and libxine installed? I'm not sure how the slackware version was compiled. I'm not in Puppy 3.01 so I can't compile for it. Maybe someone else will?
