Thanks - managed to fix the old Zyxel router/modem I was having problems with. Cool I think some settings had got corrupted.

sx works OK for not-too-big files. Smile

Trying to upload dsl modem firmware (1.5 MB) I repeatedly got an error after 400 - 500K or so (the law of averages kicking in I guess). Not sure how good the recovery from comms error is in sx ... XMODEM protocol should allow recovery but sx appeared to fall over immediately the error occurred. Although the cable I was using wasn't pretty (custom cable I soldered myself) it was pretty short so I'm not sure a different cable would have helped (working at 9600 baud). Crying or Very sad

(I got round the comms problem by uploading a 16K settings file instead which restored the device to normal operation!) Very Happy
