Is there a list of Linux-based ham radio apps?

#1 Post by ab2qv »

I just wonder if someone here or whoever has a list of linux based hamradio applications that work with Puppy Linux. Where I can download them and how to download it (FTP, plain download or any other ways) would be appreciated it. Thanks folks!

BTW, which web browser that works best on Puppy Linux (has its bookmarks etc)?

There are a few HAM progs around here,
search for "HAM" or "ham*" using the forum search function
It seem that you can also run echolink through wine, (a windows emulator), if your PC is sort of recent..

As the forum search only goes back one year, it's better to try with:

http://www.wellminded.com/puppy/pupsearch.html

Entering "ham", you'll get this list:

ham

Dear Maddox, Eric & Muggins, thanks so much for ur fast response.

Folks,

I got my puplinux.3 installed on my Dell pentium II tower with liveCD and running superb! Soon I will try v.3 on my XP-SP2 tower and notebook. Is there any echolinux and eqsolinux available for puplinux.3 yet? Anyone tried NBEMS by W1HKJ yet?

I found some linuxham apps @ http://radio.linux.org.au but I never try any of those on puplinux.3 yet. Pls share it here if any of you have tried it and worked just fine on puplinux especially ver.3.

Tks n 73 de wyn, AB2QV.
