Apparently it has a Broadcom chipset which is problematic in Linux.

You'll need to the use Puppy Linux's Network wizard to install XP driver through ndiswrapper.

Before you resort to ndiswrapper, try the native Linux drivers.
First try "b43legacy". In theory, this is compatible.
If it fails to establish a connection, try the proprietary Broadcom wifi driver from here -

If still no success, now use ndiswrapper.
