I got it working in puppy and It was so slow and without gamepad support. I got better results running nullDC in wine(full speed if compiz disabled)

sc0ttjarvis has a .pet for it, for his Puppy Arcade. I don't remember the directory on his website to download the .pet, though. You should PM him and ask.
