I did a full install of Lucid Puppy on an ext4 partition on an old laptop that I want to act as a torrent downloader. It did its thing, then installed grub (I told it to do so on the mbr of the hard drive).
Now when I turn on the computer I get the (textual) grub screen where it asks me to choose what to boot, but then I can't do anything. Using the arrow keys doesn't move the selection, and if I keep it up it soon starts beeping at every keypress.
What to do?
Full install, now GRUB locks up

Does it have this problem with an earlier Puppy on ext3 or 2 partition?
