my first pay back from and through the forums! FYI precise 5.5
i started out trying to want to play a emulated game. It needed to be patched since was some translation. So i chose one that might work under puppy. Unix related was the only option.
romhacking.net / utilities
http://emunix.org/posts/lazyips-patcher/
https://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=56857
at that site the dependicies showed
pygtk
I am not familiar with much any of this, I could not find an exact match at PPM. So I decided to search the murga forums, found the answer on pg2
http://www.murga-linux.com/puppy/viewto ... 40&t=85493
http://smokey01.com/saluki/pet_packages ... 2-i486.pet
after the python.pet is installed and the lazy_ips is extracted.
then use the console to where you extracted lazy_ips
and type
#python lazy_ips.py
i got 3 errors for some flags but the patching at least worked.
i guess the real trick would be to put in a pet to share the love.
ips patcher in two steps i think
