Just thought I'd mention that the latest version of ScummVM (1.2.0) works beautifully on Lucid Puppy (5.1.1.).
All I did was go to the official ScummVM downloads page, and choose the slackware package. When the option appears after the download was complete, I chose 'install' instead of opening it as an archive.
When I get a chance, I'll test this in the standard Puppy 4.3.1, and Puppy Arcade (TurboPup).
If anyone else does before me, can you post back the results? On the download page you can also find a few freeware games to test in it like:
* Beneath a Steel Sky
* Flight of the Amazon Queen
* Lure of the Temptress
* Drascula: The Vampire Strikes Back
To avoid hot-linking issues, here's the official page
ScummVM Downloads
ScummVM: Adventure Game Interpreter
Well, here were my results:
Lucid Puppy (5.1.1) = Installs out of the box. As far as I can tell, everything runs as it should
Puppy (4.3.1) = Slackware installation instructions aren't recognized, and it won't install.
Puppy Arcade (9) = Same as above. It won't Install.
SlackPup (0.4 Beta) = Installs fine. But... it needs the following libraries to work: libiconv, libSDL, libvga. I found them HERE, and simply dropped them into the '/usr/lib' directory.
If anyone knows how to install any of the slackware/deb packages from the official ScummVM page in standard Puppy/TurboPup please let me know.

puppy arcade 10 has scummvm 1.2.0 installed by default.
(it was stolen from debian somewhere, rather than slackware)
